This Privacy Policy describes how Gujarat Tourism: Places to Visit ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Gujarat Tourism: Places to Visit is an independent travel information and tourism guide. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Gujarat, Gujarat Tourism, or any official tourism authority in any way.

All destination information, travel tips, timings, routes, and recommendations provided in the App are for general travel and informational purposes only. We strive to keep content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or availability of any travel information.

We are not responsible for:

• changes in destination access, timings, or entry fees;
• travel disruptions, weather conditions, or safety incidents;
• decisions made based on information shown in the App;
• third-party services, bookings, or transport arrangements; or
• any loss or inconvenience arising from reliance on App content.

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Always verify important travel details with official sources before visiting any destination.

1. Information We Collect

When you use the App, we and our third-party partners automatically collect device information (model, OS version, unique device identifiers such as Android Advertising ID), usage data (features used, screens viewed, session duration), crash reports (error logs, stack traces), IP address and approximate location at country or region level only, and app version information.

The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal name, email address, password, or payment information to browse tourist places and travel information.

If you contact us for support, we may collect the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address and message content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use automatically collected information to:

• provide and improve the App's travel guide functionality;
• display advertisements via Google AdMob;
• analyse App usage via Firebase Analytics;
• diagnose crashes via Firebase Crashlytics;
• remotely configure App features via Firebase Remote Config; and
• understand which destinations and features are most useful to users.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each operating under its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob displays advertisements within the App and may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads.
• Google Firebase Analytics collects anonymised usage statistics.
• Google Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports to help us fix stability issues.
• Google Firebase Remote Config fetches configuration values to allow us to update App behaviour without requiring a full App update.

4. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use your Android Advertising ID to show personalised ads, or non-personalised ads if consent has not been given.

To opt out of personalised ads on Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we present a consent form powered by Google's User Messaging Platform before displaying personalised ads. You may withdraw consent at any time via your device ad settings.

5. Data Retention

Analytics and crash data are retained by Google per their own policies. We do not maintain a server-side database containing your personal account data. Any support correspondence you send us is retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through the App and our third-party service providers. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you believe your child has used the App and personal data has been collected, please contact us at monkhive01@gmail.com and we will take steps to remove such information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights including access to your data, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent for personalised advertising via your device settings. Since we do not store personal data on our own servers, most of these rights apply directly to the third-party services listed in Section 3.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
